Responsible Use of Myntlo
You may use Myntlo to:
- Upload meeting recordings you are legally allowed to process
- Generate transcripts from meetings, calls, lectures, interviews, or similar recordings
- Create summaries, action items, decisions, and follow-up notes
- Organize meeting information for personal, team, or business productivity
- Search, review, and export your own authorized meeting data
- Share meeting insights with people who are allowed to access that information
You are responsible for the content you upload and for making sure you have the right to record, upload, process, store, and share that content.
Recording Consent and Legal Compliance
You may not use Myntlo to upload, process, or share recordings that were created illegally or without required consent. Depending on your location, recording laws may require consent from one or all parties in a conversation. You are responsible for understanding and following applicable laws before uploading any meeting, call, or conversation to Myntlo.
You may not use Myntlo to:
- Secretly record people where consent is required
- Upload stolen, leaked, or unauthorized recordings
- Process private conversations you were not allowed to access
- Misrepresent whether a meeting is being recorded or analyzed
- Use Myntlo in a way that violates privacy, wiretapping, employment, education, healthcare, financial, or data protection laws
Privacy and Confidential Information
Myntlo may process sensitive meeting content. You must not upload content unless you have the right to do so. You may not use Myntlo to intentionally expose, misuse, or distribute:
- Private personal information
- Passwords, API keys, authentication tokens, or security credentials
- Financial account numbers or payment card information
- Government identification numbers
- Private health information unless you are legally authorized to process it
- Confidential employer, customer, client, or trade secret information without permission
- Information belonging to another user or organization that you are not authorized to access
If you accidentally upload sensitive information, you should delete the file or contact Myntlo at support@myntlo.com for assistance.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use Myntlo to create, process, store, or distribute content that supports or enables illegal activity, harmful or abusive conduct, hate or violence, sexual exploitation or child safety violations, unauthorized surveillance, security abuse, misinformation and deception, or spam and platform abuse.
Specifically, you may not use Myntlo to plan, support, conceal, or carry out illegal activity including fraud, scams, identity theft, harassment, extortion, or unauthorized surveillance. You may not harass, threaten, intimidate, exploit, or abuse another person or group, or secretly monitor, track, profile, or surveil people without appropriate notice, consent, and legal authority.
You may not use Myntlo to compromise computer systems, extract secrets, summarize stolen credentials, analyze hacked data, or support phishing, malware, credential theft, or unauthorized access. You may not intentionally create or spread false, misleading, or deceptive summaries, transcripts, records, claims, or impersonations.
High-Risk Use Cases
Myntlo is designed for productivity and meeting organization. It is not intended to replace qualified professionals or to make final decisions in high-risk areas. If you use Myntlo in a high-risk context, you are responsible for appropriate human review, legal compliance, and professional oversight.
High-risk contexts may include:
- Legal matters
- Healthcare or mental health
- Finance, loans, credit, or insurance
- Employment, hiring, promotion, discipline, or termination decisions
- Housing eligibility or tenant screening
- Education admissions, grading, certification, or disciplinary decisions
- Government benefits or public services
- Any decision that could significantly affect a person's rights, access, safety, finances, employment, housing, education, or wellbeing
Myntlo outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or missing context. You should not rely on Myntlo-generated summaries, transcripts, action items, or insights as the sole basis for important decisions.
AI-Generated Output
Myntlo may use AI systems to generate transcripts, summaries, action items, decisions, and other meeting insights. AI-generated outputs may contain mistakes. Myntlo does not guarantee that transcripts or summaries are complete, accurate, legally sufficient, or suitable for any specific purpose.
Users are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, sharing them, publishing them, or using them to make decisions. You may not represent AI-generated outputs as perfect, official, or human-verified unless they have been appropriately reviewed.
Meeting Content Ownership and Access
You retain responsibility for the content you upload to Myntlo. You may only upload meeting content that you own or are authorized to process. If you are part of an organization, your organization may control access to meetings, transcripts, summaries, and related data according to its workspace settings.
You may not attempt to access, export, delete, or modify another user's or organization's data unless you are authorized to do so.
Data Export and Deletion
Users may request to export or delete personal data where supported by Myntlo and required by applicable law. You may not abuse export or deletion tools to access data belonging to another user, evade investigations into abuse or fraud, delete evidence of prohibited activity, or disrupt an organization's lawful recordkeeping obligations.
Myntlo may retain certain data where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, compliance, or operational reasons.
Security Requirements
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. You should use a strong password, protect your login credentials, avoid sharing accounts, enable additional security features when available, and immediately report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
You may not share API keys or secrets publicly, attempt to bypass authentication or authorization, use another person's account without permission, test Myntlo's security without authorization, or interfere with the normal operation of the service.
Admin and Organization Responsibilities
Organization owners and admins are responsible for how their workspace uses Myntlo. Admins should ensure that members understand when meetings are recorded or processed, sensitive data is uploaded only when appropriate, access permissions are assigned correctly, former members are removed when needed, and organization use complies with applicable laws and internal policies.
Myntlo is not responsible for an organization's failure to obtain required consent or manage user access appropriately.
Edge Cases and Special Situations
The following situations require extra caution: private or sensitive meetings, recordings involving non-users, workplace recordings, school or student recordings, healthcare or therapy recordings, legal or client meetings, accidental uploads, and AI mistakes.
If a meeting includes people who do not use Myntlo, you are still responsible for obtaining any required consent before uploading or processing the recording. Do not upload protected health information unless you are legally authorized and have appropriate safeguards.
If you accidentally upload the wrong file, delete it as soon as possible or contact Myntlo at support@myntlo.com. If Myntlo generates an incorrect transcript, summary, action item, or decision, you are responsible for correcting it before relying on or sharing it.
Enforcement
If we believe this Usage Policy has been violated, we may take action, including warning the user, removing content, disabling specific features, limiting uploads or processing, suspending or terminating an account, restricting organization access, preserving information where required by law or security needs, or reporting unlawful activity where legally required or appropriate.
We may also investigate suspicious activity, including unusual upload patterns, abuse of free plans, security threats, or attempts to access unauthorized data.
Reporting Violations
If you believe someone is violating this Usage Policy or misusing Myntlo, contact us at support@myntlo.com. Please include enough information for us to investigate, such as the account, organization, meeting, file, or behavior involved.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Usage Policy as Myntlo evolves, as laws change, or as we learn about new risks. If we make material changes, we may notify users by updating the effective date, posting a notice, or sending a communication where appropriate. Continued use of Myntlo after changes means you agree to the updated Usage Policy.
